FTSE ASEAN Index
FTSE ASEAN Indexes is the project initiated under the first cooperative efforts between the seven ASEAN exchanges, namely Bursa Malaysia, Hanoi Stock Exchange, Hochiminh Stock Exchange, Indonesia Stock Exchange, The Philippines Stock Exchange, Singapore Exchange and Stock Exchange of Thailand. The indexes have been developed on recognized standards and methodology which will increase the visibility of ASEAN to domestic and international investors, and brand ASEAN as an appealing asset class.
FTSE ASEAN Indexes were firstly launched on 21 September 2005 with the two indexes: FTSE ASEAN Index and FTSE ASEAN 40 Index. The newly added indexes on 28 May 2014 are FTSE ASEAN All-Share Index, FTSE ASEAN All-Share ex Developed Index and FTSE ASEAN Stars Index.
