          Charoong Thai Wire and Cable Plc.(CTW) would like to clarify
the Company and its subsidiaries' operating results based on the
consolidated financial statements for the second  quarter of 2018,
three-month period, ended 30 June 2018 as follows:

Profit
    Profit attributable to equity holders of CTW of THB 108.58 million
increased by THB 76.64 million or 239.98% from profit of THB 31.94
million in the same period of 2017, caused by the following main
reasons:

     Revenue from Sales
     Revenue from sales of THB 1,913.66 million increased by THB
230.50 million or 13.69% when compared with THB 1,683.16 million
in the same period of the previous year.  In the second quarter of
2018, the Company and its subsidiaries had revenue from Enameled
and non-enameled wire of THB 1,114.14 Million, followed by Power
cable of THB 767.91 Million, Fiber optic cable of THB 14.88 Million
and Communication cable of THB 11.55 Million, respectively.

     Other Income
     Other Income of THB 4.11 million decreased by THB 25.35 million
or 86.04% when compare with the same period of the previous year.
In the second quarter of 2018, revenue from interest income
decreased by THB 15.76 million and there was loss on exchange rate
of THB 7.19 million, while there was gain on exchange rate of THB
9.87 million in the second quarter of 2017.

     Expenses
     Total expenses of THB 1,772.86 million increased by THB 105.81
million or 6.35% from THB 1,667.05 million in the second quarter of
the previous year, details were summarized as follows.

   1.    Cost of Sales
       Total cost of sales in the second quarter of 2018 of THB 1,698.17
million increased by THB 104.20 million or 6.54% when compared
with THB 1,593.96 million in the same period of the previous year.  In
the second quarter of 2018, the gross profit was THB 215.49 million,
increasing by THB 126.30 million or 141.59% from THB 89.20 million
in the same period of the previous year.  The gross profit margin was
11.26% which increased from 5.30% in the same period of 2017.

   2.    Selling Expenses
       In the second quarter of 2018, the Company and its subsidiaries
had the selling expenses of THB 23.83 million, which was close to
THB 23.73 million in the same period of the previous year.

   3.    Administrative Expenses

       Administrative expenses of THB 50.87 million increased by THB
1.52 million or 3.07% from THB 49.35 million in the same period of the
previous year.  In the second quarter of 2018, the Company had
written off bad debts of THB 1.70 million.

   4.    Finance Cost

       Finance cost of THB 9.36 million increased by THB 2.01 million or
27.34% from THB 7.35 million in the same period of the previous year
which were mainly the interest expenses of trust receipts.
